HOW WE STOP PEOPLE CUTTING CORNERS

Every layer works together. Here is exactly what happens at each stage.

STAGE 1
The employer can see — but not contact
When an employer browses profiles, they can see the candidate's experience, qualifications, DBS status, and match score. But the name, phone number, email, and previous employer names are all replaced with a code (e.g. 'Candidate #BT-2847'). There is nothing to Google. There is nothing to search on LinkedIn. The employer cannot find this person without going through us.
STAGE 2
The compliance pack is the key
The employer needs the DBS certificate number, the Zinc Right-to-Work report, and the completed references before the candidate can legally start work at a CQC-regulated service. We hold all three. They are only released after payment. If the employer tries to hire the candidate directly, they still have to do all the compliance checks themselves — which defeats the entire point of using us.
STAGE 3
Every message is monitored
The in-platform chat (built in Softr) logs every message. Make.com scans messages for patterns like phone numbers, email addresses, or phrases like 'WhatsApp me' or 'call me on'. If it detects an attempt to move the conversation off-platform, both parties are automatically warned and the conversation is flagged for review. This is the same approach used by Upwork, which permanently bans accounts that try to circumvent the platform.
STAGE 4
The contract makes it expensive to cheat
When an employer registers, they sign your Terms of Business. These include a 12-month introduction clause: if they hire any candidate they found on this platform — directly or through a third party — within 12 months, they owe the full fee plus a £2,500 breach penalty. This is legally enforceable under the Conduct of Employment Agencies Regulations 2003. The candidate also signs terms agreeing to report any off-platform approach.
The Bottom Line

The compliance documents are the product. An employer cannot legally onboard a care worker at a CQC or Ofsted-regulated service without a verified DBS, a certified Right-to-Work check, and satisfactory references. We hold all three. That means the only way to bypass us is to redo all the compliance checks from scratch — which costs more time and money than simply paying our fee.
